2) Library of
Congress Number - BookMasters can now register your
publication with the Library of Congress (LOC). Along with your registry, you will receive an LOC
number for the cataloging of your book on the national library
database. Librarians use this number to locate the Library of
Congress catalog information for your book and also to order catalog
cards. Nearly 20,000 libraries subscribe to this service and some
order almost every cataloged book. This registry is essential to

3) Copyright - A copyright must be obtained to protect your work. BookMasters can
provide both the copyright and the Library of Congress registry for $200.00.
4) Bar Code - Books being sold to wholesalers,
distributors and bookstores must have a Bar Code printed on the back
cover. We are providing the Bookland EAN Bar Code. BookMasters can create
your own unique Bar Code for $85.00.
5) SAN (Standard Address Number) - A unique seven-digit identifier used to signify a specific address of an organization in (or served by) the publishing industry. It is an American National Standard, initiated and maintained by R.R. Bowker, and has become THE identification code for electronic communication within the industry. The use of the SAN significantly reduces the problems faced by other non-standard numbering systems such as billing errors, books shipped to the wrong points, errors in payments and returns.
