About the Author

“Bob Adamov is a superb craftsman of hanging-on-the-edge-of-your-seat mystery adventures!” – Midwest Book Review

Bob Adamov
Bob Adamov is a seasoned executive with an extensive background in human resources, public relations, investor relations, finance and crisis management with several major northeast Ohio companies. Prior to the publishing of his first novel, Rainbow’s End, Adamov’s writing focused primarily in the business environment.

From his home base in Wooster, Ohio, located about 60 miles south of Cleveland, Adamov, a Kent State University graduate, often travels out to the Lake Erie islands in his award-winning, bright yellow 1939 Packard street rod. He is often seen selling books out of the trunk as he takes the Miller Ferry across to South Bass Island.

Adamov also enjoys traveling in Europe and spending as much time as possible in Put-in-Bay on Lake Erie’s South Bass Island, Key West, the Cayman Islands and throughout the Caribbean with his scuba diver and treasure hunter friends.

Recognition
Adamov’s first book, Rainbow’s End was a finalist as the top fiction novel for the 2003 Great Lakes Book Award competition that was won by the Pulitzer Prize-winner, Middlesex. His next three novels, Pierce the Veil, When Rainbows Walk, and Promised Land were named as one of 2004’s, 2005’s and 2006’s best novels in Northeast Ohio. All four novels were rated “5 Stars” by the Midwest Book Review.

Adamov’s writing style has been compared to that of popular author Clive Cussler by Jerry Bruckheimer’s team who also suggested that Adamov’s protagonist was a potential franchise hero like Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.

In July 2006, Adamov was the featured author at the Ernest Hemingway Days’ Literary Festival in Key West. In 2007, Promised Land won Honorable Mention Awards at the Hollywood Book Festival and London Book Festival.

His fifth novel, The Other Side of Hell, is set in the Cayman Islands and includes extensive scuba action. Adamov’s long time friend and legendary Put-in-Bay singer/songwriter/comedian Mike “Mad Dog” Adams wrote a new song entitled The Other Side of Hell. It is included on his 11 song CD which is attached to each copy of the book.
