Peggy McGowen is the "Kitchen Queen," and it's not because of her zest for cooking, which she loves. Peggy has a passion for designing fabulous kitchens that enhance her clients' quality of life. "Redoing or building a kitchen can be life-changing," she said. "People spend huge amounts of time in their kitchens, so why not make them as beautify and functional as possible?"
To satisfy her passion for designing kitchens, Peggy founded Kitchens & Bath Concepts in 1986. The company specialize in the consultation and design of new and remodeled luxury kitchens and baths. "We are a family-run business and do all things kitchen," she explained. "We help our clients improve their quality of life and set themselves apart from the ordinary with distinctive designs and unmatched quality." Her firm offers complete design and installation services using fine custom cabinetry, state-of-the-art appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting and convenience accessories to create the perfect kitchens for their clients.
The firm has an outstanding reputation among professionals in the kitchen and bath industry, where Peggy is a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD). She earned this distinctive certification after undergoing 100 hours of training in professional development courses. She and her staff of residential kitchen specialists work closely with their clients and collaborate with the architects, designers and contractors to achieve the best possible results.
Peggy evolved into the self-proclaimed "Kitchen Queen" designation-a crown she wears proudly. Her series of presentations for consumer, professional and trade association groups led to frequent speaking engagements at home shows and trade conferences, which she continues today. A recipient of numerous design awards, Peggy uses her knowledge to judge the work of others, participating in a variety of contests including the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Design Competition. Peggy's award-winning work has been featured in many local and national publications and she has appeared on Home and Garden Television several times.
