About the Author
Lill Hawkins is a homeschooling mother of 2, a freelance writer, blogger and longtime organic gardener. Her writing credits include A Little Green Book of Organic Gardening Tips and articles in Secular Homeschooling Magazine. Before she became a work-at-home-mother, Ms. Hawkins was a proofreader, researcher and - for several years - one of the first female welders in a New England shipyard. Lill grew up in Southern New England and moved to Maine twenty years ago. She shares a big old house, sixty acres and a swamp with her husband, children, dog and cats.
