Curly, Twirly, Whirly, and Higgledy Piggledy are four brother piglets that live a happy life together in the sun. With no sweet name to rhyme with the rest of his family, poor Higgledy Piggledy wishes he were more like his brothers. When scary Mr. Wolf moves in next door, he’s hungry for ham. As Curly, Twirly, Whirly, and Higgledy Piggledy attempt to outwit and outrun their sly neighbor, the little piglets learn a big life lesson about what’s truly in a name.
“A high quality gem with the makings of a modern day classic... Inspired by an English Fairy Tale, Higgledy Piggledy is a delightful tale with a clever story. It shows that being different is not a bad thing, and in fact can be quite rewarding. The story has both an old-world and contemporary feel, with dazzling illustrations full of charm, warmth, and humor that captivate the reader.” ~ Tillywig Reviews (Top Fun Award)
“Guaranteed to make your child laugh! Higgledy Piggledy is loosely based on The Three Little Pigs, but adds a neat twist to the end, thanks to Higgledy Piggledy and his long, hard-to-pronounce name. This story, without being preachy, imparts the important lesson that being different is okay, and in fact, can be pretty cool. The drawings are bright and light-hearted, and add an additional fun element to the book. Put it all together and you have a delightful bedtime, or anytime story.” ~ Feathered Quill Book Reviews (5 Stars)
“Highly recommend! Just a beautiful book! The illustrations are lovely, the story is delightful to read with a subtle lesson for both the child and the reader.” ~ Constance Gilbert Amazon Reviewer (5 Stars)
