In his debut book, Sebastian K. Young shares a compelling story of tragedy, trials and triumph in a way that rallies readers to assess the way they navigate the curves of life. “I Had Every Excuse To Fail, But I Chose None” discusses how a mother’s murder, a grandfather’s love, and life lessons can encourage readers young and old to refuse to succumb to life’s adversities. Separated into three sections, Growing Up, Life Lessons, and Forward Thinking, the book systematically progresses through the various trials Sebastian experienced at the early age of two and how he resolved to turn pain into motivation. The book shares with the reader the witty relationship based anecdotes of his grandfather, and the business savvy chess game approach that he uses to strategically forge through life today.

The book entitled I HAD EVERY EXCUSE TO FAIL BUT I CHOSE NONE by Sebastian K. Young is a very captivating and inspirational book. This is his first novel released, and is a very motivating book. The title is an excellent title to capture the attention of young men and women who are dealing with life experiences and struggles. Author Sebastian K. Young wants people of all ages to realize that we should never allow ourselves to stop learning. Each day brings new opportunities.
I HAD EVERY EXCUSE TO FAIL BUT I CHOSE NONE is a book written by Young himself and displays some of the trials and tribulations he experienced in his life. Sebastian K. Young was born to a teenage mother and a father who wanted nothing to do with him. After losing his mother due to a brutal murder when Young was just 2 years old, his grandparents took the role to raising him. Raised by his grandparents, Young developed a very special bond with them. He was taught and learned lessons that helped him understand life and life situations clearer.
This book will take you through his school age years from being teased, childhood pranks, school fights and even deaths. In certain chapters you will feel as if you know the author and can relate to some of the things going on. I HAD EVERY EXCUSE TO FAIL BUT I CHOSE NONE is a like a emotional rollercoaster. This book will have you feeling sad one moment and laughing the next. Some of the scenes are described so well, you will feel you are right along side of him.
As the author quotes: "All of us have something in us that defines who we are. We need to use our talents to its' fullness." I recommend this book to people of all ages. I think this book can inspire elementary school students to older people struggling to make wiser decisions. This book can be used as a self motivational tool to success. Do we really want to settle with excuses? Do we drown in self pity or do we swim towards success? This book can help one determine their destination. Sebastian K. Young illustrates that we should use our unfortunate situations as "stepping stones" rather than "stumbling blocks". He demonstrates that our attitude can determine our altitude......... How far will you soar? Will you fly or flop...the choice is yours.
Thank you Sebastian K. Young for your passion for writing and sharing.

The book is a delight for youth that are facing crisis in their lives from early childhood trauma, abuse, neglect; and adults’ negative programming. It is also a book for adults that are plagued with issues from their childhood that are circumventing them from living a wholesome and fulfilling life.
Both child and adult will become better vehicles to dissimulate information on how to break the cycles of abuse; since “Hurt people, hurt people” as the author so nicely worded it through the eyes of his grandfather.
“I Had Every Excuse To Fail, But I Chose None” is a must for all since many people do not understand why and how they have become the victim or the pouncing ball for someone else’s abusive behaviors.
In reading “I Had Every Excuse To Fail, But I Chose None,” one has to remain open-minded and see beyond their own thoughts and feelings of gender as we know of it in today’s society. From remaining open-minded, one will be able to appreciate what is missing within the lives of many of our lost male genders. Through unconditional love, one will understand why some any of our male-factors have lost their way and some still are losing their way in society.
In, “I Had Every Excuse To Fail, But I Chose None” the author found a need to embrace the inevitable loses in his live with challenging changes and channeling new choices; even by gracing the world with this book that is full of social changes, psychological pains, emotional devastations, and mental distresses.
“I Had Every Excuse To Fail, But I Chose None” is a book that is full of moments of laugher, cries, joyfulness, screams, shouts, agreements, disagreements, and unbelievables. It will also make the reader put the book down temporarily in order to readjust the mind’s eye, only to pick it up again to continue the journey with the author.
“I Had Every Excuse To Fail, But I Chose None” is a believe it or not idea book that one and many should read, in order to spread the word that yes, there are excuses to fail, but you, the individual have choices to make decisions to chose none.
