Craig Daliessio was a successful mortgage banker at the peak of his career. He had a nice house, a beautiful daughter, and a sense of contentment. Then the mortgage industry collapsed and Craig saw his dreams being swept away, and along with them—his hope. By August 2008, he was homeless, living in a car hidden behind a church. He had lost all hope when one magical night, one magical voice from his childhood broke through the clouds and helped him to believe in his dreams again. The night was October 29, 2008, when the Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series; the voice—the great Harry Kalas. In a twist of fate, Craig heard that voice on the radio and the memories of happier times started him on his long road back—and forward—to becoming who he was always meant to be.
