About the Author

John Paul Thornton’s art has taken him all over the world. From Tibetan refugee settlements in Nepal to the historic steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., John Paul has staged exhibitions and launched creative projects designed to reflect the vitality and strength of the human spirit. His lectures and workshops have inspired thousands to expand their artistic potential and realize their authentic power. John Paul earned his degree from California State University at Northridge. With over 25 years teaching experience, he currently serves as education coordinator for the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
