Summary
Haunted by the death of her police officer husband, Detroit homicide detective, Madeline Harris returns in a tale of sexual slavery, murder, and rape. One of the city's toughest cops, Harris faces her dirtiest job yet- tracking down the brutal slayer of a child prostitute. She also uncovers a serial killer who isn't above murdering innocents who stand in his way, a killer who will go to any length to claim revenge against a group of child rapists. Wading through the darkest pits of human corruption to pursue the killers, Detective Harris follows a tortuous trail of deceit and danger no matter where it leads, from filthy basements and back alleys to the Tigers' Comerica Park. On the dangerous streets of America's Murder City, this single mom stops at nothing to bring two savage killers to justice.
