About the Author
Ed Ramos has been fishing since he was able to hold a rod. Raised in South Florida Ed has been fishing from the Keys to the Panhandle and everywhere in between. As a resident of Southwest Florida, Ed has been fortunate enough to fish in the Tarpon Capitol of the United States, Boca Grande. This area known for its resources has allowed Ed the insight to learn what conditions produce catching fish, that along with the many guides who contributed to this book. Ed has also had the opportunity to fish other parts of the country for species not known in Florida. Other areas fished include Northern Canada for the Great Northern Pike and Walleye which blessed our campfires on many occasions. These are the expeditions which prompted the need for local knowledge and thus The Angler IQ fishing log and Calendar 2009.
