About the Author
Nick was born in Ann Arbor where his father, grandfather, and great grandfather had all worked on the Detroit to Chicago Main Line between Ypsilanti and Chelsea. He is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and Central Michigan University and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. His life’s work as an educator in Michigan, Kansas and Kentucky enhanced his interest in local and regional history. This is his third book in that genre.
