In "Born Again," objective evidence of reincarnation is presented which demonstrates that from lifetime to lifetime, facial features, talents and personality traits remain consistent. Independently researched cases include those studied by Ian Stevenson, MD, at the University of Virginia, as well as the cases of Police Captain Robert Snow, Fire Chief Jeff Keene, neurosurgeon Norm Shealy and US Diplomat Wayne Peterson. In the Keene case, a linguistic analysis demonstrates that writing style can remain consistent across incarnations. A key case featured in "Born Again” involves Barbro Karlen, who in childhood had verifiable memories of being Anne Frank. Anne was persecuted as a Jew in the Holocaust, while Barbro reincarnated into a Christian family in Sweden. This case, and others like it, demonstrates that violence, conflict and war based on differences in religious, national or ethnic affiliation is groundless, and how evidence of reincarnation can create a more peaceful world. Cases solved through Kevin Ryerson, who is featured in Shirley MacLaine's books, are also presented. Pablo Picasso, who has been reborn as the childhood prodigy Alexandra Nechita, who has been featured on Oprah and CBS Sunday Morning, started producing Picasso like art at age four. Paul Gauguin has reincarnated as Peter Teekamp, who, as demonstrated by sketches featured in “Born Again,” unconsciously replicated the artistic development of Gauguin as a young man. Laurel & Hardy, who have reincarnated as Josh and Danny Bacher, have replicated the comedic development of Stan and Ollie. Political cases include past lives of George W. Bush, Ralph Nader, Indira Gandhi and Nehru. Past lives of Indian movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha are presented.
