About the Book

Shonga Yelor has been called upon by the forces of destiny to save the dying world of Krus'Ka'Kam. With her hometown of Dang'Kito destroyed and left without family, Shonga bitterly ignores the calling. As she journeys to Juyat in search of a long-lost friend, she's met with a strange group of characters -a princess, a thief and her friend's two honor guards.

Together, they agree to set out against the very evil that destroyed Shonga's home. But before their quest as Siyets—Legendary Warriors of Taykato—can start, Shonga is kidnapped by the infamous Hive and sent to the island of Denwara. With Shonga gone, the other Siyets must first venture to save her before she is killed, and before the evil forces of Krus'Ka'Kam can gain strength.

About the Author

Born and raised in Marion, New York, Shannon Miller is currently living in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, near Hong Kong, China. She is a teacher at Zhongshan university where she teaches various English courses from Oral English to Written English and Western Culture.
