About the Book
This autobiography is about a man who began his career as an apprentice butcher traveling throughout Germany from 1872-1874. He lived near the German-Dutch border in a time period that some today consider one of the "best of times" to have been alive. Hubert served 3 years in the German army beginning in 1876, then continued his colorful life as a civilian. If there is such a thing as living life to the fullest, then Hubert Dielen wins the prize. He managed to avoid all of life's pitfalls unscathed in addition to having a wonderful family of 10 children. Hubert's success continued on to the 3rd generation! What an example Hubert sets for all of us.
The book includes 2 detailed maps, a handwriting sample, 12 photographs and more!
