..After being educated about the lengthy wait time for a kidney transplant due to lack of available donor organs, I found it hard to believe that over 300 people die each day in the U.S. So, I went down to the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and filled out my donor card.
...I already knew that they couldn't use my kidneys ‘cause they left me high and dry. None of us know for certain when we're going to die because we aren't the custodians of our mortality.
...But when my time on earth expires; if they can use any of my organs to help someone else, it'll be my pleasure, 'cause where I'm going, I won't be needing 'em no way. When that day comes, and it will for all of us; the new Cledus look is a private matter between me and 'the man upstairs' and the particulars ain't for public knowledge.
...I can tell you this; I'll be peeing up a river ‘cause both of my kidneys are gonna be working.
