About the Book
FBI agents Alan Sloane and his fiancee Lorelei Hildrith have been sent to the elusive place Nod, a refuge for criminals hiding from the law. To Alan’s advantage, the citizens of this strange place mistake him for an actor and movie producer. He and Lorelei befriend Nod’s founder Sam Hamilton, but when Hamilton is murdered Alan decides that it is up to him to become the new Patriarch of Nod.
