Harold Bloom, Sterling Professor of the Humanities at Yale University, is the author of more than thirty books, including THE ANXIETY OF INFLUENCE, THE WESTERN CANON, SHAKESPEARE: THE INVENTION OF THE HUMAN, and HOW TO READ AND WHY.
