Chica means girl and bee means be. Be chic, be a girl, be a Chichabee. Inspired by his daughters, Andrew Lueck found the inspiration needed to bring his everyday sketchbook characters to life. Whether walking through the rain, ordering a double, short, no foam hot cocoa or riding her bike around the lake, Chicabee finds her way though the Emerald City making the most of everyday.
Along the way you will also meet Little-O, Chicabee's fearless sister who also happens to love circles and the letter O. You will also be introduced to Yappy the lap dog always willing to voice his opinion, usually in the form of a "Yap, yap!" And don't forget Sparkle the catm Chicabee's eyes and ears for all that is glitter and gold. About the Author
Storytelling, doodling and drawing since he was six, Andrew Lueck has illustrated works for Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo and other northwest organizations. Currently, he works as an Art Director in Seattle where he lives with his wife Jennifer, daughters Jessica and Olivia and his chocolate dog Baylee-jo. Chicabee is his first children's book and just the beginning of many storybook adventures with Chicabee and her friends.
