Neville W. Cramer is a highly professional retired Special Agent-in-Charge with more than twenty-six years of experience with the U.S. Department of Justice, United States Border Patrol and the former Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).
While serving at INS Headquarters, Neville Cramer developing the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements Program (SAVE). SAVE was subsequently mandated for the fifty states in the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act. He was promoted to Deputy Assistant Commissioner and directed the nationwide implementation of SAVE until 1990.The SAVE system still operates today and has been credited with saving taxpayers billions of dollars.
During his tenure as Special Agent-in-Charge in the Overseas Enforcement Unit, Neville Cramer was one of the first U.S. Government officials to study and test the E-Passport. Now in private practice, he is a lead consultant for IRIS Technologies, the firm that pioneered the world’s first electronic passport, the Autogate biometric immigration entry/exit system and national multi-application smart card.
