An arts enthusiast, she served the community as a member of the Diablo Regional Arts Association, and a board member of the Oakland East Bay Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Elisa graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Hayward , and is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America. She enjoys taking long walks with her husband and pets near their home in the San Francisco Bay Area.
