Editor Bio

Robert E. Willett is president of Houston-based Financial Communications Company, which he founded in 1978. Since 1986, in addition to offering consulting services in financial communications and other disciplines, he has been associate publisher of Natural Gas magazine (John Wiley and Sons, New York). He was editor of the Natural Gas Yearbook (Wiley also) from 1993 through 1997, the last year it was published. He has also consulted for other energy journals and other publications outside of energy, done other financial communications projects (150 financial analysts’ presentations and fifteen annual reports) and assisted multinational corporations with corporate expansion in the United States and in Latin America. He has an MS in communication (except thesis) from the University of Houston and an MBA in finance (Columbia University). He is a CPA.

About his editing in the 1997 Natural Gas Yearbook, Mary Baluss in the Energy Law Journal (vol. 18, 1997) said: "All will agree… that editor Robert Willett has chosen articles of general and specialized interest that, for the most part, leave one enriched….Each section of the book interacts with the others and the whole is readable and interesting."
