This comprehensive
and award-winning handbook covers the fundamentals of dyeing cotton, rayon,
linen and silk with the MX fiber-reactive dyes and textile paints. Many
of the techniques are appropriate for dyeing yarn, ribbon, paper, basket
reed, and even wood.
- Informative troubleshooting information at the end
of each section.
- Explanations of how to use, what they do, and why you need the different
products.
- Mix colors to your hearts content and get close to the color you want
by using the Color-mixing chart on page 45. We've heard it really does
work well and easily reproduces the colors in the book.
Flexibility and versatility are
the two best words to describe the MX dyes. This book includes 16 different
patterning techniques. It is truly a foundation book, that anyone working
with dyes should not be without.
