The Plot
When teenage brothers Ken
and Dale Lockwood find something out of place during a Spring
climb at Wheeler Point, their search begins.
Using newspaper microfilm, computer software, map skills
and a rudimentary knowledge of geology, they attempt to solve a
mystery which had baffled the State Police some thirty years
earlier.
When not climbing the
boys must deal with a pair of assertive girlfriends, a
cantankerous Aunt and then a surprise ending. Although
written for 9-14 year old readers, adults will enjoy sharing
this authentic portrait of rock climbing blended with mystery.
Plenty of humor and brain food, no graphic violence.
