A former professor of economics (Humboldt State University, Arcata, California), he has for the past 23 years provided investment advice to individuals, pension plans, and trustees. The author of hundreds of financial advice columns, Ross has a rare ability to make complex concepts intelligible to the general reader. He lives with his wife, Jan, in Arcata.
