Summary

Natural gas spoken here, and this summary will introduce you to Natural Gas Industry Analysis. Additionally, a comprehensive discussion of the scope, features, and benefits of the book is also available from the publisher, in the form of a brochure. (You may have been referred to this web page by that brochure. In any case, read on.) The brochure will be sent promptly and at no charge to anyone who requests it. Please call toll-free (877) 520-NGIA.
Nevertheless, this discussion will also explain the book.
As an example of the way people can use the book's information, gas buyers at any level can save money through the strategies shown here, while assuring themselves of a steady supply.
This seamless flow was achieved by careful selection of stand-alone topics and of authors with top credentials who were not likely to stray from their subject matter. Thus, for nearly all topics, all you want to know is in one place, which saves you time. We also believe that through the current, helpful techniques in this edition, you will protect your company’s natural gas investments and generate profits.
No doubt about it, the thirty-four experts who wrote this year’s editions can put you ahead of the pack. Future editions will also have that goal. There are already topics for future discussion that could not be covered here. For example, because of space limitations there is no section in this edition about the Internet, nor is there a chapter about the MMS (Materials Management Service).
So don’t forget, that in future editions as well as in this one, you won’t be disappointed.

Editor Bio

Robert E. Willett is president of Houston-based Financial Communications Company, which he founded in 1978. Since 1986, in addition to offering consulting services in financial communications and other disciplines, he has been associate publisher of Natural Gas magazine (John Wiley and Sons, New York). He was editor of the Natural Gas Yearbook (Wiley also) from 1993 through 1997, the last year it was published. He has also consulted for other energy journals and other publications outside of energy, done other financial communications projects (150 financial analysts’ presentations and fifteen annual reports) and assisted multinational corporations with corporate expansion in the United States and in Latin America. He has an MS in communication (except thesis) from the University of Houston and an MBA in finance (Columbia University). He is a CPA.

About his editing in the 1997 Natural Gas Yearbook, Mary Baluss in the Energy Law Journal (vol. 18, 1997) said: "All will agree… that editor Robert Willett has chosen articles of general and specialized interest that, for the most part, leave one enriched….Each section of the book interacts with the others and the whole is readable and interesting."
