About the Author

Renae M. Reinardy, Psy.D., LP received her doctorate at Argosy University, Washington, D.C. Dr. Reinardy is the founder and president of the Lakeside Center for Behavioral Change. She is also co-founder of OCD Twin Cities, which is a nonprofit organization providing resources to individuals seeking information on obsessive compulsive disorder and related conditions.

Dr. Reinardy specializes in the treatment of hoarding, trichotillomania, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and related conditions. She has been an adjunct professor at the doctoral level and has presented numerous times at national conferences and at local meetings and trainings. Dr. Reinardy has been interviewed on Good Morning America and the Joy Behar Show.  She has also had her treatment techniques featured on Dateline NBC and A&E’s Hoarders.
