Summary
Babylon was a city of wonder and renown, crowned by the Hanging Gardens and considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was also the capital and the seat of power of one of the most ruthless tyrants of all time - Nebuchadnezzar the Great. Nebuchadnezzar reigned from 605 BC to 562 BC and is the best known ruler of the Chaldean Dynasty, famous for his conquest of Judah and the ransacking of Jerusalem that resulted in the deportation of the Jews and the infamous Babylonian Exile. Babylon recounts the encounters of the tyrant who meets his match in a young exile of Hebrew royalty named Daniel, who eventually served as advisor to two great world empires.
